KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Police Department needs help locating the parents of a girl found wandering alone.

On June 6, at around 9:30 a.m., police officers responded to call about a girl near the intersection of Leader Drive and Old FM 440.

The girl was walking by herself and was about to walk into traffic, police said.

Officers searched the area and knocked on doors and could not locate the parents.

The child is approximately 3 to 5 years old. She is a black female and was wearing a white tank top. She has long braided hair.
