The National Weather Service released a flood advisory at 3:10 p.m. on Friday in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Montgomery, Saratoga and Schenectady counties.
The weather service states, "Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected."
"Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas," says the weather service. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles."
