BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The CEO of Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille confirmed Thursday its Midtown Park location construction is ‘on hold.’

The project was initially announced in 2022 with an expected completion date in fall of 2024.

CEO Mark Schulman said in a statement, the project is on hold as they work with Bartlett Cocke Construction to restart work.

The contractor is also constructing the boardwalk in Midtown Park. City of Bryan officials estimate completion in 2026.

Schulman said he is anticipating to restart construction within the next 30 days.
