MINNEAPOLIS — A U.S. Border Patrol officer is accused of knowingly possessing sexual abuse material of a child, according to federal prosecutors.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer Anthony John Crowley, 52, of Minnetonka, made his first court appearance Friday after being charged with possession of child pornography. Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said in a press release that Crowley was found with "visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct." A judge ordered Crowley to remain in custody pending further proceedings.
