Olympiacos Piraeus beat Panathinaikos Athens 99 – 88 on the road to go up 2-1 in the Greek League Finals. It was a quite tense game that featured multiple ejections, including those of Evan Fournier in the third period, along with Kendrick Nunn and Ergin Ataman in the last minute.
Sasha Vezenkov led Olympiacos with 25 points, five rebounds and four assists. Nikola Milutinov had 17 points plus six rebounds, playing extended minutes after Moustapha Fall exited the game early with injury. Evan Fournier added 15 points, all of of them in the first nine minutes of the second half when Olympiacos went ahead 67 – 74.
In the next play, Kostas Papanikolaou stole the ball and gave to Fournier who ran in transition, receiving an unsportsmanlike foul by Kendrick Nunn during a layup attempt. T
