ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Julia Roman, 20, after she was accused of biting a man on his shoulder.

On June 4, around 8:30 a.m., officers were called to the 400 block of North 1st Street for an unknown issue. A witness told authorities that Roman punched a man in the stomach.

The victim told officials that the two of them were arguing before she punched and bit him.

Police reported that they saw a bite mark on the man's shoulder.

Roman is charged with domestic battery, causing bodily harm.
