PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacola officials are asking for the public's input on the design for the Pensacola Beach Gateway that will welcome visitors to Pensacola Beach.

According to a Pensacola news release, public input received during the initial phase of the project was used for the designs being put forth, and now residents have the opportunity to help choose the final design to be used.

"The goal of this project is to provide an improved gateway to Pensacola Beach at the south end of the Bob Sikes Bridge, creating a more aesthetic greeting to keep tourism thriving on Pensacola Beach," the release said.
