COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash at Hancock and Circle on May 16.
Police said around 10 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling north on Hancock, and as the motorcycle curved right on the roadway, it crossed over the center double-yellow lines and struck a vehicle heading southbound.
According to police, the motorcycle rider was tossed from the motorcycle and died on the scene.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the rider as 28-year-old Elvin Jose Irizarry Iglesias.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
CSPD said this was the 14th deadly crash in Colorado Springs this year.
