OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Sarah Nommensen is the principal of Uta Halee Academy for girls, a residential treatment center that offers a group home, crisis stabilization and a school. All girls that come to Uta Halee are placed there through either probation or through health and human services.

Two of her high school graduating students belong to the Umoⁿhoⁿ tribe. To help celebrate their accomplishments and their culture she wanted to hold a graduation ceremony that would fall in line with the traditions of their tribe.
