SPOKANE, Wash. -- The City of Spokane announced millions in state funding heading to the city for multiple projects aimed at improving the area.

More than $82 million dollars is being allocated for city projects on housing, public safety, behavioral health, and community development.

Here's how the $82.7 million is being divided:

$750,000 for renovating, expanding Spokane Police's training center

$1 million for St. John's Two senior housing project

$23 million for operational costs on local housing, human service projects'

$3 million for a new crisis relief, sobering center

$2 million for Maddie's Place

$1 million for improvements at Fish Lake Trail

$51.7 million for the North Spokane Corridor

$300,000 for a noise abatement, sound mitigation study for the Highway 395 project in E
