SAN ANTONIO β Residents in Kirby, a Bexar County community of about 8,100 people, are being asked to boil any water they plan to consume or use for personal hygiene after city officials posted about widespread water outages Thursday night.
In a Friday update posted to social media, the City of Kirby said some residents may still be experiencing low water pressure as crews continue responding to the issue. Now the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is requiring residents to boil their water for at least two minutes before using it.
