BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. (WIS) - A teenager is among those facing charges in a shooting in Batesburg-Leesville, according to police.

Batesburg-Leesville Police Chief Darren Amick said a 15-year-old suspect is charged with six counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.

Police said the charges stem from a May 10 shooting at the Creek View Apartments.

The teen was arrested while a search warrant was served on Willis Street.

Amick said that authorities seized marijuana, methamphetamine and three guns, one of which was stolen, while executing the search warrant.

The search also led to the arrest of one other minor and three adults. Their charges, however, were unrelated to the May shooting, according to law enforce
