OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Red Raiders are on to a winner-take-all game three, taking down the Texas Longhorns, 4-3, on Thursday in the Women’s College World Series championship series.
Due to weather conditions, the game was on a 50-minute delay with a start time of 7:50 p.m. That is Texas Tech’s second weather delay of the WCWS.
The Red Raiders jumped out in front in the bottom of the fifth following a bases-loaded hit by pitch with Reagan Jennings scoring from third.
A wild pitch then brought in another run, putting the Red Raiders up, 2-1. Texas would cut the lead with a home run on their side of the sixth.
Texas Tech then added two more in the bottom of the sixth including Victoria Valdez scoring from second base. She missed a call the pitch before from Gerry
