PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - U.S. Attorney Kyle Bumgarner and Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird announced that a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky will face federal child exploitation charges.

A federal grand jury indicted Cameron Lawrence, 23 with one count of enticement of a minor, two counts of attempted enticement of a minor, and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Lawrence made his first court appearance on June 3 and he is being held pending trial.

If convicted, Lawrence faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
