(FOX40.COM) — The judge in the trial of Davis serial stabbing suspect Carlos Dominguez instructed the jury to consider first- and second-degree murder charges as well as manslaughter in the deaths of David Breaux and Karim Abou Najm.
Dominguez is also charged with the attempted murder of Kimberlee Guillory and unlawful use of a deadly weapon.

Earlier this week, Dominguez took the stand and told the court that during the attacks, his victims as shapeshifting figures whispering to him.
Dominguez’s trial was put on hold in August 2023 after he was found incompetent to stand trial. Criminal proceedings resumed in January 2024 after he was certified by a state hospital to be fit to stand trial.
