NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Newport News Police are trying to find a woman they say stole from a 7-Eleven earlier this week.

Police responded to an alarm at the 7-Eleven in the 16900 block of Warwick Blvd. on June 2 around 2:42 p.m.

An employee told officers that a women entered the business and tried to steal several bottles of alcohol. The suspect reportedly pushed an employee who tried to intervene.

NNPD released this surveillance image of the suspect.
