BATON ROUGE, La. -- Friday was practice day at Alex Box Stadium on the campus of Louisiana State University, with the Mountaineers taking the field at their scheduled practice time of 12:45 p.m. CT under mostly cloudy skies and a breezeless 92 degrees of heat.

Reese Bassinger, Brodie Kresser, and head coach Steve Sabins were all asked about how the Mountaineers will deal with the heat multiple times. And, after spending two hours on the field on Friday, there is no doubt that an afternoon game will be a steamer.
