MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - A federal judge in New York issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting the nationwide pause of the Job Corps.

Burdick Job Corps in Minot told us they are aware of this, but they’re not changing their approach, for now.

Workforce Development Specialist Tom Ross said they are working on doing inventory and moving forward with transitioning its students.

Though the judge’s order isn’t changing anything with the Minot Campus for now, Ross said it gives them hope for a more positive solution.

He said they are continuing to connect students with resources for things like housing.
