MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Gray Brothers Cafeteria will close its Mooresville location after service this Sunday, marking the end of over 80 years of serving homestyle meals.

The decision to close comes as the cafeteria faces unsustainable financial challenges, including rising inflation and increasing costs of ingredients.

“It’s been rough,” said Jaimen Gray, manager and co-owner of Gray Brothers Cafeteria. “I mean, it’s not something any of us wanted to do at all, but at the end of the day, it’s what we had to do. Everyone is heartbroken about it.”
