INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)- WISH-TV is investing in the future of journalism through our Multicultural Media Producing Program. The initiative is designed to bring more diversity to newsrooms across the country.

The MMPP program is now accepting applications for its semester-long class starting in August.

Students learn everything from building a newscast to understanding the fast-paced environment of a newsroom. As former students say, it’s more than just a course, it prepares you for the future.

“Writing and talking about different shows. We did a lot of show reviews and we really got an experience of what it’s like to be in a newsroom as a producer, as a reporter, doesn’t matter what position and we just had that type of experience.” said Isaiah Fairrow, WISH-TV reporting intern.
