Missouri baseball officially earned its first commitment out of the transfer portal early Friday morning, as right-handed pitcher Keyler Gonzalez announced via social media that he is transferring to Kerrick Jackson’s team.
Gonzalez, who is listed at 5 foot 11, has spent the past two seasons at Nova Southeastern University, a Division-II outfit in Florida. He currently has two remaining years of eligibility.
The righty recorded a 4.47 ERA in 14 starts in the 2025 season, ending the season with a 3-5 record. He pitched 86⅔ innings, allowing 76 hits — 23 for extra bases — and striking out 87 batters. He allowed 32 walks and gave up 43 earned runs. Opposing batters recorded a .228 average against him.
