York experiencing water issues after lightning strikes well

SUMTER COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The City of York is experiencing water issues.

City officials say their well was impacted by a lighting strike last week.

The strike caused an outage that was mostly fixed by the weekend.

The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted, according to officials.

Some customers still have low water pressure, but officials say that could be caused by a separate problem. Crews are working to fix the issue.
