LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The 17-year-old previously charged with the death of Ali Naqvi has been charged with a second count of Murder for Aoun Basboos.

Police say the 17-year-old was charged with murder on June 6 and is currently being held at a juvenile detention center, where they have been since May 14.

Police say Basboos has not been located and is presumed to be dead.

Police say in consultation with the FBI, Fayette County Coroner’s Office, and the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, they developed adequate probable cause to charge the 17-year-old with the murder of Aoun Basboos.

Detectives are continuing to search for Aoun Basboos. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Lexington Police Department at (859) 258-3600.
