RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) - Students in Stafford Technical Center’s digital arts program got to show off their work Friday.

The class created art through computer programs that were displayed at a Rutland art gallery as part of the course’s final.

The projects ranged from creating a website to drawing logos to fashion design.

For students like Aliyah Simons, it was the first time their art was on display. “I have only ever had my work on display in a small art show before, and so to have it up in an actual gallery is really fulfilling, and you actually get to see your work in action,” Simons said.

“Building that connection with people, because building a connection with people through art is, it’s kind of easy because they see something and they’re like, oh my god, I want to know more,” said
