PLATTSBURGH, N.Y (WCAX) - A New York artist is finishing up another mural in Plattsburgh, making it the 21st display put on by a local arts organization.

The newest Outside Art: Plattsburgh Public Art Project features the Davidson Sisters -- Margaret and Lucretia -- who were poets who lived in Plattsburgh during the 1800s.

Brendon Palmer-Angell spent the past week working on The Poets’ Mural on the side of Xpress mart on Bridge Street. He says it’s a way to pay tribute to young creatives in the area. “There is a lot of energy in this town and, I think, a hunger for the arts and sort of unlocking creativity. And I like to think a piece like this would aid in that,” he said.
