High-risk sex offender registers north Fargo address

FARGO -- A registered sex offender has registered an address at 1310 11th St. N.

Sam Knute Pladson, 33, is described as 5-foot-5, weighs 170 pounds and has green eyes and brown hair, according to a release from the Fargo Police Department.

Assessed as a high-risk offender, Pladson was convicted of first-degree sexual assault in Washington City, Neb., in 2013, when he verbally pressured a 13-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself, the release said.

Pladson is a lifetime registrant.
