SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - One of Siouxland’s favorite summer events is back and tastier than ever.

Food Truck Friday kicked off Friday, June 6, in downtown Sioux City. Nine different food trucks were set up at Pearl Street Park at the corner of 6th and Pearl downtown.

Visitors can grab anything from coffee and specialty sodas, to burgers, tacos and corn dogs.

One food truck owner said this is one event he looks forward to each week.

“We haven’t been in Sioux City a lot this year. We have a lot of events that take us out of Sioux City this year, so it’s nice to sign up for something like this that brings us back into our hometown every single Friday,“ said Corey Larkin, owner of Coffee & Nosh.

Food Truck Friday happens every Friday afternoon through the summer, beginning at 11 a.m.
