Rancho Mirage Crack Seal Project to Cause Lane Closures

Multiple lane closures and reduced speed limits will start Sunday across several roadways in Rancho Mirage as part of the city’s crack seal project.

The work will be conducted at night to prevent traffic disruptions on Monterey Avenue from the Whitewater Channel to the southern city limits, the Public Works Department announced.

On Monday, Highway 111 will be worked on from the western city limits to Bob Hope Drive.

The project aims to prevent water intrusion and minimize long-term pavement deterioration.

Motorists were advised to use caution when driving through work zones and to use alternate routes if possible.
