COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A man was apprehended Friday after Columbus police say he fired gunshots near North High Street and Hull Alley.

Police said the incident was reported just after 1:50 a.m. and was caught on live camera footage.

Officers said they found Tayon Geiger, 27, who they said matched the description of the suspect, running eastbound on East Hubbard Street. and took him into custody.

"Great work by our officers to quickly apprehend this suspect," a representative from the Columbus Division of Police said in a Facebook post .

There were no reported injuries from the incident.
