LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A 17-year-old who was accused of killing 16-year-old Ali Naqvi was additionally charged on Friday in connection with the disappearance of 15-year-old Aoun Basboos, who was reported missing alongside Naqvi on May 11.
On Friday, June 6, the Lexington Police Department (LPD) announced in a news release that the 17-year-old was charged with a second count of murder and lodged at a juvenile detention center, where they have been since May 14.

"At this time, Aoun Basboos has not been located and is presumed to be deceased," a spokesperson with the LPD said in a news release. "In consultation with the FBI, Fayette County Coroner’s Office, and the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, adequate probable cause was determined to charge for the murder of Aoun Basboos.
