TIFFIN, Ohio — Thanks to state funding worth around $200k, Court Street in Tiffin will soon be getting a new decorative arch to welcome people in with help from around $200,000 in state funding.

Mayor Lee Wilkinson said it is part of a project to revitalize the block, as the city continues to improve the downtown area. The street also got new sidewalks, which are now ADA compliant, new lamp posts, which are planned to be installed to make the street more visible, and additional landscaping projects.

The city said the arch will display the words “Court Street” in a decorative steel frame. It will also be illuminated by underlighting with globe-style lights.
