After a successful showing at Wilson Park last weekend and fan reaction that indicated a desire for a return, the independent minor league baseball team is back in Vallejo for a third season.

Pecos League owner Andrew Dunn — who also controls the Vallejo Seaweed — announced Friday that the team would be playing the rest of its home games this year at Wilson Park. The franchise will only be called the Vallejo Seaweed after previously playing as a team with two names and cities for the past month.
