Mounties south of Calgary seized a significant amount of drugs as well as weapons and cash during a traffic stop near Okotoks.
Okotoks RCMP say officers were patrolling near the hamlet of Aldersyde around 5:30 a.m. on May 31, when they saw a vehicle with a licence plate that didn’t match.
The officers pulled over the vehicle and found a large amount of drugs, as well as cash and weapons. RCMP seized the following: • 88 tablets of suspected fentanyl • 35 grams of suspected cocaine • 40 dots of suspected LSD • 6 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms • 177 grams of suspected cannabis resin • 257 tablets of prescription medications • an extendable baton and two knives • $7,300 in cash
