ARGENTA, Ill. (WCIA) -- The Village of Argenta is asking people to help bring an end to two situations that the mayor described as being potentially dangerous.

In a letter on Facebook, Mayor Cindy Luedke said the situations both involve young people engaging in disruptive behavior. The first involves "a group of boys" being out late at night and early in the morning, banging on the doors and sides of houses.

"The police are aware of this issue but catching them has proven to be difficult," Luedke said. "At this time, we have not been able to identify them, but I am confident that eventually they will be caught."
