NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - WSMV4 has obtained the indictment against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to an El Salvadoran prison, stemming from a Tennessee traffic stop in 2022.

Abrego Garcia has been brought back into the U.S. to face human trafficking charges, according to reports. He’s accused of transporting undocumented migrants within the U.S.

The indictment from the U.S. District Court in Middle Tennessee shows that Abrego Garcia is charged with two counts: “conspiracy to transport aliens” and “unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.”
