The Latest From Storm Team 5...

We received good news in terms of the wildfire smoke, we no longer have an Air Quality Alerts in northeast Wisconsin as the latest one expired at noon Friday. However, this weekend, the WI DNR is saying we will have some elevated levels of smoke around and some surface ozone, but conditions are looking better then days past.

Tonight, an early shower is possible, but most see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low to mid 50s.

Saturday will be the best day of the weekend. Expecting a mixture of sun and clouds, high temperatures will work back into the middle 70s. We were watching the chance of a pop up shower, but the main thinking is that will stay out in central and western WI. At worst, a brief shower may brush up against our western counties.
