RENO COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Reno County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who is believed to have hit a public works employee with their vehicle on purpose.

Deputies said the crash happened sometime Thursday and involved a newer-model gray or silver Nissan Frontier with a handicap placard on the mirror. The driver is believed to have been a man in his 60s with gray hair.

A captain with the Reno County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle was driving at a low speed, and the employee was knocked to the ground and went into the ditch, but is OK.
