FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - May was an unusually gloomy month and I - as well as many of you - held out some hope June would buck the trend. So far, however, the gloominess has stuck around. Patterns usually shift in pretty extreme ways around here, so I’m sure there will be a prolonged light at the end of the world’s longest tunnel soon!
Tonight will be cloudy with haze and, eventually, some fog into Saturday morning. June’s high sun angle should help the fog/low clouds disperse pretty quickly Saturday morning, revealing mostly sunny skies. However, some surface smoke/haze is still expected to play a part in Saturday’s weather, keeping the air quality poor for sensitive groups.
