HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - People gathered downtown Hartford to enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of ‘Hartford Taste’ on Friday night.

The festival was scheduled to take place on Pratt Street and Trumbull Street from Friday afternoon until Saturday evening.

More than 30 vendors were set up with an assortment of foods to choose from.

Many people came out to explore and enjoy the live music for free.

In order to sample some of Hartford’s finest foods, people had to purchase a ‘taste ticket’.

Whether someone wanted ice cream, burgers, or barbecue, there was something for everyone.

There were also live cooking demonstrations on Friday night.

One restaurant owner said this event displayed the diversity across the entire city.
