NASHVILLE, Ind. — A man is in jail after he reportedly attacked a child at a McDonald's in Nashville, according to the Nashville Police Department.

Justin Gadson was preliminarily charged with battery against a person less than 14, and criminal confinement.

Officers were dispatched to a McDonald's restaurant at 501 St. Road E in Nashville on Friday on a report of an attempted child abduction.

Emergency crews arrived and located the suspect nearby. Upon further investigation, Gadson was taken into the custody of the Brown County Jail.
