LONDON — The United Kingdom's royal family has fallen under intense scrutiny recently. First, Princess Kate's extended absence from public view brought about questions from the media. But most recently, Prince William has publicly denied any speculation that a recent family photo appeared to have received subtle editing near his head area.

The Prince insisted the world was viewing a pristine, unedited photo, "In its majestic, manly glory."

"The photo in question has not been altered any form whatsoever," said a spokesperson for the Prince of Wales. "Nevertheless, Prince William would like to express his sincerest apology for having surely caused intensely jealous feelings among pathetic bald men."
