HARRISBURG, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Paws of Hope is a new charity organization located in Harrisburg that helps pet owners in need of assistance.

“I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I have a passion for animals. I’ve worked for the Humane Society. I donate to all of our rescues, and I thought I just wanted this for myself. It’s something that I want to do, and I want to make a difference,” said Suzanne Kluever, Paws of Hope Founder.

To fund the charity, Kluever collects donated clothing and household items to sell at pop-up locations around Harrisburg, including this weekend, taking part in the annual Harrisburg Rummage Sale at Paws of Hope’s location, 47932 272nd St. in Harrisburg.
