KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City leaders are ramping up their efforts to curb illegal ATV and dirt bike activity on city streets – and residents in the Crossroads District have already felt the impact.
After a year of complaints about loud engines, dangerous stunts, and public safety risks, the Kansas City Council passed two ordinances aimed at shutting down the problem. The first measure gives police the authority to immediately impound vehicles that are not street-legal, even if they aren’t actively engaged in racing or reckless behavior.
