NORTH CHARLESTON — A woman who was inside El Alamo nightclub when it was raided last weekend pushed back against descriptions from law enforcement , saying the night became one of "fear and humiliation" during a June 6 news conference.
The conference, held at the Lonnie Hamilton III Public Service Building, came after refusals by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement and other agencies involved in the June 1 raid to release details about nearly all of the 80 people arrested in the operation, where they were taken, and how many were detained solely on immigration violations.
