A Yellowstone County jury convicted a man Friday of raping and robbing a blind woman at her Billings home.

Bryan Leigh Anderson was found guilty in Yellowstone County District Court of three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, with jurors hearing firsthand from the woman who survived his abuse. During the trial, which began Monday, she spoke in unrelentingly blunt terms about what she felt, smelled and tasted nearly two years ago after Anderson broke into her apartment.

“It hurt so much,” she said during her testimony earlier this week.

The woman survived a nightmare, with Deputy Chief Yellowstone County Attorney Arielle Dean saying she was physically unable to see the danger that was watching her.
