WYTVCOLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) - McDonald's Drew Zajack won the Division III State Title in the Boys Discus Throw on Friday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of Ohio State University.
He won the event with a personal record throw of 178-3, which came on his final attempt in the event at state competition.
Hopewell-Loudon's Aiden Ewald finished in second place with a throw of 175-5.
Zajack finished in sixth place in the discus at the 2024 OHSAA State Track and Field meet.
Multiple other local standouts reached the podium at the 2025 OHSAA State Track and Field meet.
