AUSTIN, Texas — I-35 in San Marcos is back open following an incident Friday afternoon after a dump truck lost its load.

According to the San Marcos Police Department, the incident happened at Exit 206, which heads toward Aquarena Springs Road. Initially, it caused the closure of the exit as well as the center and right northbound lanes, leaving the left lane as the only one open. The center lane reopened at around 6:20 p.m.

At 7:25 p.m., the San Marcos Police Department said the spill had been cleared and all lanes had reopened.
