BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The date for the 2025 Southern University Homecoming Parade has been announced.

The university announces that the parade will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 1 p.m., which is one week before the official start of the HBCU's homecoming week festivities leading up to game day.

The Jaguars will play their homecoming football game against Prairie View A&M University inside A.W. Mumford Stadium on Saturday, October 18.
