OKLAHOMA CITY — Either Texas softball or Texas Tech will make history Friday in the third and final game in the best-of-three championship series at the Women's College World Series in Devon Park.

Neither school has ever won a national championship, but one of these teams will become the first squad to hoist the title trophy for the first time since Florida State in 2018.
