SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — Local residents will get the chance to hear from candidates for two open judge positions when the 28th Judicial District Nominating Commission meets Monday, July 21.
The commission will hold public interviews starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Saline County Courthouse.
The openings include: • A district judge position in Saline County, soon to be vacant after Judge Rene Young retires on August 1. • A district magistrate judge position in Ottawa County, following the resignation of Judge Jason Parks on June 6.
